Simply Rose Salve with Rosehip Seed Oil, organic herbal balm ethically created botanically infused handcrafted salve

While I utilize my wild organic rose petals in some of my other salves and ointments, this is a no frills, very simple, Rose petal and rosehip seed oil only recipe. It allows the plant to shine and do its job unhindered. 

Your salve will be handcrafted in a small batch, as always. The rose petals used come from wild, happy, and healthy, mountain roses and garden grown rose bushes and are lovingly hand gathered, air dried, hand garbled, and infused slowly for a minimum of 6-8 weeks. We then strain and drain it multiple times through many layers of organic cheesecloth to ensure a clear infusion, free from sediment. After an order is placed, it is paired with local raw beeswax to create the perfect salve consistency, then hand poured, labeled, and sent your way.

Apply topically to clean, dry skin. This can be done after a hot towel treatment, hot steam, or warm bath to help open the pores. Perfect for the face, lips, neck, and chest, and gentle enough to be used around the eyes. Not for internal use. Use caution when applying near the eyes.

We hand make all of our products to order in small batches to ensure optimal freshness, consistency, and potency. Our products are not made to sit on store shelves for extended amounts of time. Salves can last 1-2 years if stored correctly (in a cool, dry, and dark place) however, dirty hands touching the salve over time can speed up an expiration date. Once opened, herbal skin care products become exposed to dirt and microorganisms that are found in the air and on the skin. As soon as you open and begin to use any product, simply the way in which you use it will affect its lifespan. When using a salve, always use clean, dry, hands or fingertips, as this will assist in preserving a longer shelf-life.
